Core Scientific Concepts (CoreSC) is an annotation scheme used to delineate different parts of scientific discourse in a scientific paper.

There are 11 categories:

- Background
- Conclusion
- Experiment
- Goal
- Hypothesis
- Method
- Model
- Motivation
- Object
- Observation
- Result

### Classification Methods
